Hello and welcome to my personal/crafty blog :) My name is Estivalia and I'm a papercrafter, rubberstamper, card and ATC maker. You can read more about me, my art and how to contact me on the "About" page. Thanks for stopping by!

Just a small note

The last 2 items that I put up on my Etsy just expired, after 3 months and no one bough them :( I am not going to renew the cards that expired, but will try something else.

So I put 2 matching cards up... let’s see how it’ll do :)

I was also thinking about buying some of those incredibly cute hedgie stamps from Penny Black to make cards to sell in a forum for chilean owners of hedgie. Well, not that I wouldn’t love some of those! I can’t afford new ones just right now… so, if you have some of this stamps used that would like to sell/trade, please think of me! :)

Hugs,

Estivalia.

Cloverland, open!

Late last night I posted my first item on my Etsy shop. I wanted to see how much time it’d take for it to sell.

Well… it took less than an hour! I was both shocked and excited, the lady that bought my project (the card tote and the 4 cards that I did to combine with it) was really nice and sent me a sweet note. I’m really happy she was my first customer :)

I shipped her order today and I think I’ll be stalking the site with the tracking number I got, LOL.

So, with that said… Cloverland is oficially open and accepting orders! (I also included a link on my sidebar ♥). I’ve only listed a couple of cards, thought I’d start slowly. I hope they do as well as the first ones.

I think the hardest part was to figure out how to receive payments via Paypal, but it was easy-peasy once I had that done. The fees are good, too. I think I’ll have to be there for a while until I can really recommend the site, but so far its got 2-thumbs up! :)

Cats and custom stamp

2008-02-21

Finally, a card! This one was hard to make, in fact, I started with a different color combination. But, oh well, I think it turned out nice :)

Again, I cut out the cats of my Kodomo cat stamp and adhered them to the card with mounting tape for dimension, I think it’s more fun this way. I also used some 1/8″ silver brads.. I can’t wait til my Crop-A-Dile arrives so I can start using eyelets (I ordered one from eBay :)

I also distressed the main panel with ink and a sponge (LOVE that!). The “hello” sentiment are stickers, I think they go so well with the patterned paper on the scalloped edge.

By the way, I just took a picture of the custom stamp I ordered so you can see the logo and stuff. I still need to add the credit card information, but then I’ll be ready to open :)

And that’s it for today. Thank you so much for visiting and I *hope* to see you soon (if my mojo lets me :)

Weeee!

This is a really short message because in a couple of minutes I have to meet Claudio in the hospital (one of his teeth hurts a lot). I hope it’s nothing serious.

But… Rhi is back! :D  I always loved Rhi’s artwork using those cute A*Muse stamps, and a couple of weeks before she took a “vacation” from crafting, she helped me get my Elzybell stamp, that I love so much . I’m happy to see she’s back at posting, you should really check up her cute little mailbox :)

And I have my custom stamp made for my Etsy shop, yay! It was *really* expensive… like $30 for an automatic self-inking stamp, but oh boy, I so love it! I’ll take a picture of it later because my camera batteries died. Hopefully I’ll get a card done too (yup, Mojo Monday again, lolz).

So, take care everyone and sorry for being so MIA :)

Hellooo…

…elloo, ellooo *echo*

Sorry I’ve gone missing -again- today’s excuse is that I don’t feel to well, a little stomach ache. But I’ve been working in getting a project done.

I’m working on getting an Etsy shop to sell my handmade cards :) Most of the cards I make and post on the blog don’t have a determined purpose, and they often sit around my desk for months before meeting an envelope and stamps. So, I though I might as well use them to finance supplies. It’s a vicious circle, I tell you!

I’ve been working on graphics for the store (banner, avatars, etc) and I still have to make some things, like I want to  make a custom stamp to “sign” the back of the cards, figure out the right price, shipping costs, etc.

I’ll let you know when I open it, so you can give me your feedback :)

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you soon!
