The Artist

Welcome to my personal/crafty blog :) My name is Estivalia and I am a stamper from Chile. I’m 21 years old (bday: Jan 16th) and currently attending law school at the University of Antofagasta.

What can I do? Well, through my “artistic” life I’ve tried the following: drawing, oil-painting, watercoloring (my favourite medium), origami (and recently modular origami & kusudama), rubberstamping, COPIC markers, card-making and ATCs.

I also enjoy reading japanese comics (aka “manga“) , penpalling, collecting postage stamps from around the world, spending time with my fiancé (we’ve been together since I was 17 ♥) and generally procrastinating watching T.V (Grey’s Anatomy, Heroes & House M.D. are my favourites) or playing videogames (mostly PS2, mostly RPGs).

The Blog

“Paper Leisure” started on May/2007 on Livejournal because Blogger is my nemesis and I didn’t want to pay for a Typepad account. It wasn’t very successful (it was hard for people to leave comments). So, when a few months later I discovered that Wordpress (my favourite bloggin interfase ever) offered free hosting for blog I was happy to move out on October/2007. It was a this time that number started going up faster than before and I left Wordpress free hosting with around 4,000 visitors (something I am very proud of :)

PaperLeisure.net was given to me as a gift on Jan. 16, 2008 by Celph and is hosted by the amazing guys at Cloverian.net (which is basically he and his boyfriend, lol). Thanks, guys! ♥
