I actually made this card yesterday, but I just found time to post it. Seriously, ever since we went back to “normal” classes after the strike professors have been taking revenge on all of us. But, it’s a price for the things that were accomplished.
Anyway, for this card I wanted to try a vintage-ish style of some sorts, inspired by the amazing artwork from my friend Patty :) I think I failed but it was still fun to try, lol.
I started with a piece on Grungeboard and covered it with some text and distressed it with Distress Inks (seriously, I love that stuff, will be getting more soon!). I colored and paper pieced the Elzybell image with copic markers and also distressed it with scissors and ink.
My base is Wild Wasabi cardstock with some Memory Box paper over it (gorgeus paper! seriously, my favourite line so far) and a vellum layer. The “happy day” sentiment and the flowers are actually rub-ons.
Then I added a paper flower with a aged metallic brad that I got as a RAK (and been hoarding because I love them so much I don’t want to run out, LOL!).
Anyway, I’ll leave you with the supply list. Thank you for visiting!

OK, I’m curious how did you glue and trim your grungeboard exactly? I can’t stop thinking about it!
