Hey people! Sorry I have no project for today, but I really wanted to share some big (well, actually rather small ;) news…

Say hi to my daughter! ♥

Hello!

Isn’t she cute?? (well, actually she’s a little sleepy) She’s an 1yr old african hedgehog that a friend gave me as gift because he had way too much on his house and his parent’s couldn’t take care of all them anymore (my friend attends college on a different city). I’m very excited because I’ve loved those little critters for a long while and I’ve been wanting to have a small pet (like a mouse or a hamster) but hedgehogs were way out of my budget.

I don’t have a name for her yet, so I’m open tu suggestions!

Awwww, how darling!! I’ve met two of these cuties before. One was named Ms. Prick, and the other, just Hedgie… They are hilarious! Though I don’t like feeding them those mealworms. Echhhh!

Oh my gosh E! She looks like a little stuffed toy. I’ve never seen one in real. In Germany and England they use hedgehogs ALOT in greeting cards and such. Too Cute! What does it feel like to hold her? Does she like being picked up? Here are a couple of names that come to mind….. Bea (for Beatrix as in Miss Potter), Rosie. Miss Tinkywink, Miss 2Sweet ;)

WOW! She is awesome. She looks really big. I don’t think I will be any help with the names. I go with Disney animated characters most of the time.

Your “daughter” is adorable. I had a hedgehog named Duncan, and he was really sharp. (err, pardon the pun!)

Estivalia she is GORGEOUS! How big is she? Post pics that give us some sense of scale! :)

Ohimigoodness! I haven’t ever seen one of these for reals! She’s so cute!! Is she soft? Or prickly? The word Prickle reminds me of Pickle, or Pringles (do you have those chips in Chile?) I like the suggestions from above too, Beatrix is cute! Congrats on your new little girl!!

AHH! SHE’S SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! I think she looks like a Buki (Boo-kee) like the makeup brushes! LOL!
